Job Description

3Sixty Networks were tasked to implement MPLS across all the ASDA stores throughout Northern Ireland.

Requirements

To attend each of the ASDA stores in Northern Ireland and install and configure customer supplied router, before completing agreed connectivity test with ASDA In house IT Team.

Planning

The project required 3Sixty Networks to develop and deliver the appropriate scope of works, method statement, risk assessment and implementation plan within the time scale.

Implement

The 3Sixty Networks engineer attended site reviewed the site, installed the router in the agreed location and confirmed BT Openreach had completed the installation of the new MPLS circuit.

The router was then setup with appropriate IP address and configuration completed on the router. The router connectivity was confirmed with a ping test to the ASDA head office before the IT Team was contacted and the test plan completed.

Review

The project was reviewed at the end of each day and appropriate action was allocated to the 3Sixty Networks team or required contractor.

Feedback

3Sixty Networks were professional from start to finish and the IT Team at ASDA praised the ease in which the project was completed. The engineers ability to identify a problem and communicate that to our inhouse IT Team made it a no brainer to troubleshoot. We enjoyed this project and the daily updates and excellent supporting documentation allowed ASDA to be completely satifisfied this project was completed to our own high standards.
